AK CareFit Centre is owned by M Kumaran@MK, Certified Kettlebell Trainer and Personal Trainer from Georgetown, Penang.


MK is an Advanced & Experienced Personal Trainer. He has over 17 years of experience in personal fitness training and has been using Kettlebells since 2010.

He is passionate about High Intensity Training which basically focuses on performing quality training using light weights repetitions to the point of momentary muscular failure. The training takes into account the number of repetitions, the amount of weight, and the amount of time the muscle is exposed to tension in order to maximize the amount of muscle fiber recruitment.

MK used to work in fitness clubs and has seen many of them signing up and buying gym membership but they don’t have time to exercise. At the end of year, they forget the purpose of becoming a member and walk away without achieving their fitness goal. And on the other hand there are people who don’t have the time or financial capacity to commit to a gym.

The biggest problem that keeps someone from getting into good shape is they don't have time to exercise and they don’t know where to start.

Considering all these and realizing the difficulty one has to go through to get in good shape, MK started designing short term high-intensity training (HIT) that he can bring to your doorstep. He has designed plenty of super-concentrated workout programs that you can do it anywhere and anytime which take only a few minutes.

Your perception towards exercise always refers back to a gym or fitness clubs which requires you to become a member, it’s expensive and you are unable to commit.

With MK’s training program, you will be using a full range of body weight training - purely using body weight techniques and using simple fitness materials. You will learn how to make your body your machine. You will learn ballistic exercises with a combination of cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training.

MK designed programs that will help one to build strength and endurance, particularly in the lower back, legs, and shoulders, and increase grip strength.

Amazingly, his training program will get ready the individual to exercise at home to stay healthy and fit and you don’t have to unnecessarily waste hours in the gym.

MK has now since 2010 been extremely busy providing Kettlebell classes and personal training to the people in Penang and as well has been extensively introducing kettlebell training to everyone.
